Johan Bakayoko denied Joey Veerman a huge opportunity at Rangers FC

PSV did not get further than a 2-2 draw on Tuesday evening. The goals against were the result of personal mistakes, but another (major) mistake that has remained somewhat underexposed was in the name of Johan Bakayoko.
The mistake of the Belgian wing attacker did not result in a goal against PSV, but it prevented an almost certain goal from the team from Eindhoven. After Bakayoko’s first assumption, Joey Veerman had the ball free to shoot from the edge of sixteen and the Volenda player also wants to lash out.
The attacker probably has not seen Veerman and opts for a pass back to Ibrahim Sangaré, after which the attack does not yield a goal. Veerman’s reaction says more than enough.
