Cinema is more than ever in the spotlight on France Télévisions since the opening of the Cannes Film Festival, this Tuesday, May 16. While public broadcasting has been, since last year, the broadcaster and the official partner of the international competition, the group’s channels pulled out all the stops for this 76th edition. Several shows have relocated to the Croisette as it used to be The Big Newspaper on Canal+. This is how part of the team of It’s up to you, obviously led by Anne-Élisabeth Lemoinelanded on the Cannes promenade of the Pantiero, right next to the Palais des Festivals.
Michel Denisot, former presenter, among others, of Grand Journal of Canal +, was rightly invited on the tray of the daily broadcast of France 5, this Friday, May 19. His alter ego at France Télévisions could not help but ask him if he had any advice for him. “When we are in the role that you hold – which means something to me -, do not go out the first week“, replied the 78-year-old journalist seriously. Laughter was immediately heard in the ranks of the public facing l’improbable grimace of Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine who obviously did not manage to hide his embarrassment. “She went out the first night”then denounced Pierre Lescure.

Benoît Magimel flies to the aid of Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine
“I went out the first two evenings and I ran into Benoît”, then defended herself the 52-year-old presenter, making a sign to Benoît Magimel, who was also present around the board while two films in which he plays are in competition. “Yes, it’s true. You were perfect. We left early elsewhere”confirmed the actor of 59 years with gallantry. “We talked about cinema, we prepared the interview… I worked”added Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine to clear customs. A defense that has not really convinced Michel Denisot.
