Vardy closes in on Salah in Premier League scorers table

With his double in Leicester’s victory over Watford (4-2), striker Jamie Vardy has 9 goals and is only two behind Mohamed Salah, leader of the Premier League’s top scorers’ standings.

The Egyptian striker did not score on this day, in which Liverpool beat Southampton 4-0, but two other ‘Reds’ forwards are also on the hunt for Salah: Diogo Jota and Sadio Mané, both with 7 goals.
