‘UWorld Cares’ seeks to distribute $150,000 in educational funds among Dallas/Fort Worth organizations

A new round of funding from UWorld Cares will distribute $150,000 in educational funds to nonprofit organizations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The company is a leader in high-caliber exam-enabled online learning tools that seeks to further education and invest in the communities it serves.

This year’s UWorld Cares funding increased to $150,000 and will focus on partnering with community organizations to create a stronger path to higher education, address skills gaps in the workforce, and remove barriers to higher education. UWorld announced that it is accepting grant applications between January 1 and March 31, 2023, from Dallas/Fort Worth-based 501(c)(3) organizations located in Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties.

Focus areas include STEM, middle and high school education, and financial literacy programs. Organizations will be notified in May if their application has been approved.

Scholarships may cover resources for the bar exam, Certified Financial Accountant Level 1 exam, and Certified Public Accountant during the year.
