‘Unfortunate 2nd place’ Lee Nak-yeon “I will make up for my shortcomings”

Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Nak-yeon prepares for a discussion at the 6th debate hosted by OhmyNews held at the studio in Gasan Digital Complex, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul on the 1st.

Lee Nak-yeon, who finished second in the Daejeon and Chungnam primary, the first regional round of the Democratic Party’s presidential election, announced on the 4th, “I will make up for my shortcomings.”

When asked about the remaining competition strategy, he simply said, “I will do my best.”

On the same day, former representative Lee took second place after the governor in voting for rights party members and delegates. The total number of votes was 7007, which was 27.41%. It showed a difference of about 27 percentage points with this branch.
