TOGB eliminates Excelsior Maassluis (video) |

TOGB has the final of the Faithful Cup reaches. The third divisionist was too strong in Maassluis for the higher playing Excelsior Maassluis.

Before the break, both teams failed to score. Excelsior Maassluis seemed to take the lead, but due to a pushing error, the well-guided referee Schooneveld disapproved the goal. Fumbling in the defense where Tobias Kleijwegt had to correct his mistake with a foul resulted in a penalty kick for TOGB. That penalty kick was an easy job for Dean Zandbergen. Leroy Zwarteveld determined the final score at 0-2 just before time.

Due to the victory, TOGB will play the final of the Faithful Cup. The final will be played at 15:00 at the Smitshoek complex. ASWH is then the opponent of TOGB. They won on Tuesday evening after penalties against SC Feyenoord.

TOGB beats Excelsior Maassluis at home 2-0 and reaches the final of the Fidus Cup. We will play the final against ASWH on May 18, 2023 at 3 p.m. The opponent is ASWH, they defeated SC Feyenoord after penalties.
