Third party vaccinations for certain groups in the LaDaDi

Many people already have their first or second vaccination against the coronavirus. Now people aged 80 and over and people with an increased risk of a severe Covid course can receive a booster vaccination.

According to the state of Hesse, the offer also applies to people who have only received vector vaccines from Astrazeneca or the single vaccination from Johnson & Johnson. They can opt for the booster vaccination regardless of their age, provided that at least six months have passed since the end of the vaccination series. The third vaccination is always carried out with an mRNA vaccine (Biontech or Moderna).

Where do you vaccinate?

In the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, all people aged 80 and over and people with immunodeficiency or immunosuppression can be vaccinated again either in the open vaccination hours of the district vaccination centers (Reinheim and Pfungstadt) or on the mobile vaccination tour. In addition, mobile teams will vaccinate the residents in the old people’s and care facilities if they cannot get an offer from the family doctor care in the district.

The open consultation hours of the vaccination centers are every Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. The dates of the mobile vaccination tour are available on the Internet at https://perspektive.ladadi.de/aermel-hoch-on-tour/.

GMK decision but not yet a Stiko recommendation

The health ministers of the federal states agreed in their conference (GMK) to offer third-party vaccination for the groups mentioned from September 1st. The Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko) has not yet issued a recommendation for booster vaccinations. This is expected in the coming weeks. It is also not yet possible to digitally record the third vaccination. The vaccination can only be entered in the vaccination certificate.
