In Puebla, where he inaugurated a new passport office, the official presumed that the new document will be among the 15 safest in the world, while the current one is in 26th place.

“The other (novelty) that you will also see in the passport, which has to do with minors, which has been an insistence, a proposal and a suggestion from many mothers, how do we identify minors?” , he expressed.

“So, in the passport you are going to notice, now that we begin to deliver them, which will be from October 5, that we are going to place the photograph of the minor and here the father and mother will be, in the passport, for the first time in history, to be able to identify the minor and the parents ”.

When making the announcement, Ebrard pointed out in a passport that he carried with him that the photo of the minor will be in the normal area of ​​any passport, while the photos of the parents will be on the adjoining page, so that the three images can be observed when opening the booklet.

The new offices presented in the Puebla office are located in the Paseo San Francisco shopping center, in the Barrio del Alto neighborhood, where it will pay a lease of 50 pesos per square meter, for which the SRE will pay 82 thousand 615 pesos per month per thousand 652 square meters, informed Carlos Candelaria, general director of Delegations.

The place will have a lactation room, a children’s play area and an area for pets, while the waiting room will have contacts to charge users’ devices.
