They ate and drank in a restaurant in Tropea but when it came to settling the dinner bill, they ran away, not imagining being immortalized by the video surveillance cameras. It happened in Tropea, in the historic center.
To report the incident – a few days after the similar episode that occurred in Tirana in Albania, some Italian tourists were the protagonists – was the owner of the targeted restaurant “La Pentola d’oro”, Francesco Ventrice, who posted the video taken from the cameras on your Facebook profile. The images show two people who, after consuming, run away in two different directions. One of the two, just before leaving, goes back and forth in the alley. She then returns to the table and at a certain point she walks away with the other person, passing right under the camera which records her face.
“These very kind subjects, after having overindulged in food at our restaurant – commented the owner of the restaurant on social media – decided to escape without paying, with the safety and idiocy of not being recognizable. This is elite tourism “.
