The man has raged on the 20-year-old with at least six slits to the throatand there was no escape for the girl.
The funeral was held on Saturday 5 July at the church of San Giuliano in Cologno Monzese. The murder, yet another feminicide in the beautiful country, is another drama that adds to the very long list of cases of violence against women. The ANSA cameras were present at the exit of the church and collected the comments of the residents.
A very young girl can’t hold back her tears: “She was a friend of my sister, it was very trying because she was very young”. A man comments, visibly shaken and worried: “I don’t know if we are projected into progress or regression thinking about these feminicides”.
Sofia Castelli was killed on 29 July. During the last greeting dozens of balloons they were released to heaven. As the coffin left the church, the loudspeakers played the notes of Ashthe song with which the rapper Lazza participated in the Sanremo Festival 2023.
