The Russian Emergencies Ministry reported on Wednesday that a private Embraer Legacy plane, flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg, crashed near the village of Kuzhenkino in the Tver region.
There were ten people on board, including three crew members, according to preliminary information, all were killed. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the bodies of eight dead were found at the crash site of a private plane.
According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, an investigation into the crash has been launched. According to the list of passengers, among them is the name and surname of Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The situation was taken under control by the governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya. According to the press service of the government of the region, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are currently working on the spot.
Earlier it was reported that the founder of Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin was among the passengers on the plane that crashed in the Tver region.
