The technical director of the Bulgarian Football Union – Georgi Ivanov – Gonzo, shared his expectations before the eternal derby between Levski and CSKA. Here is what he said to his colleagues from Diema Sport:
“Given what we are watching, Levski shows a stability, but nothing is known. CSKA is one of the contenders for the title, but Levski with the appointment of Stoilov, the team is on the rise.
At the moment, what I see in Levski is the performance on the field. As a ranking, Levski was quite behind, but with the matches and the improvement of the game the results improved. Both teams have the largest fan base, so I expect to have the most people in this match. That is why Levski and CSKA are such great teams, because both teams love them.
Levski has nothing to lose, there is no goal set for Levski, with Levski even if they lose one match, it will not be so fatal, while with Levski it will be fatal. It is normal for CSKA to be more tense. But the tension is in both teams. Whoever copes better with the tension will succeed.
