The French team took 3rd place in the women’s relay (4×6 km) from Antholz (Italy) on Saturday, despite a revamped quartet (Chloé Chevalier, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Paula Botet and Anaïs Bescond) and a big loss in shooting (13 pickaxe balls) The French women offer themselves in extremis a fourth podium in four races this season (2 victories), Anaïs Bescond having been able to resist the sprint on the return of the Italian Federica Sanfilippo.

Very badly started after the first stint (17th), the Norwegians managed a formidable comeback to finally win, taking advantage in particular of the setbacks of Russia, second but handicapped by three penalty laps during the third stint.
