It is noted that at the checkpoint of the armed formations near Staromaryevka, two armed members of the armed formations did not allow the Mission’s patrol to Khreshchatytskoye (formerly Krasnoarmeyskoye). The invaders explained their behavior by “ongoing demining work.” However, while at the checkpoint, the SMM saw civilians and vehicles crossing the checkpoint.
Also, at the militants’ checkpoint near Shevchenko, two armed occupants interfered with the work of the OSCE observers. They did not allow the patrol in the southern direction to Khreshchatytsky. They explained this by “security reasons”. At the same time, the OSCE notes that the observers saw citizens and cars crossing the checkpoint.
In addition, in the area of n. Korsun village, a member of the armed formations did not allow the patrol in the northern direction to the n. p. Debaltsevo, referring to “orders from the commanders.” He redirected the observers to a secondary road through Korsun, which was blocked by a parked general purpose truck.
