He was also received by the President of the International Olympic Committee, Sherif El-Erian, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, Al-Basel Abdullah, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, and Counselor Mohamed El-Demerdash, President of Al-Zohour Club.
Thomas Bach’s reception at Cairo Airport witnessed an official reception with flowers, where the two players were present here, Gouda, a table tennis player, and Malak Ismail Shaker, an equestrian player, who presented flowers to the President of the International Olympic Committee upon his arrival.
Thomas Bach, accompanied by the delegation that greeted him, went to the pyramids area in Giza on the first tour during his visit to Egypt.
