The police began checking after the appearance of a video with a fight on the Moscow metro train, RBC was told in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow.
“Police officers as a result of monitoring the Internet network revealed a video recording of the conflict between metro passengers. It is preliminary established that the incident occurred in a train carriage on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. <...> Police officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident, all participants in the conflict are being identified,” the press service said.
They added that no one contacted the police with a statement after the incident.
A video of a fight in a subway car appeared on social networks on the morning of January 28. When the incident took place is unknown. The footage shows a hooded man kicking two people lying on the floor of the car. In another fragment of the video, two passengers are fighting, and one is lying.
According to the Izvestia newspaper, the incident happened on the stage at the metro station “Kurskaya”.
