Luis Hernandez wasted no time in getting down to business Brian Topp and delivered a thunderous knockout during this weekend’s Titan FC 83!
The match would end in just seconds, however, when Hernandez opened the match with a solid head kick that brought Topp down. The knockout win was not without controversy, however. Many reacted to the bout being classified as a one-second knockout win as it was clear that several seconds passed before the bout was over.
Others questioned whether Hernandez did the right thing when he appeared to open the match by extending his hand, seemingly to meet his opponent’s, before firing the kick. One of those who asked themselves this was UFC 291-current Michael Church who shared the clip on social media.
Several fighters came to share their opinions regarding the match, with many saying that you should always protect yourself in the cage, under all circumstances.
