He is the new conjurer prodigy of social networks. Maxime Tabart, who enjoys trapping the stars with his magic tricks, has just published his first book “A ton tour” (ed. Marabout). A guide to making 50 amazing and easy-to-do DIY tricks.
“This is the book I wish I had had as a child to learn magic.” Looking jovial and relaxed, Maxime Tabart confides in his first book “A Ton Tour”, published by Marabout editions. The young man is currently the rising star of magic. With its tricks – often simple but with a “wow!” assured – he knew how to conquer social networks.
On TikTok, under the nickname MaximeMagic, he has more than 520,000 subscribers, on Instagram, 129,000 followers, and his videos quickly go viral, as with Kylian Mbappé (nearly 30 million views on TikTok). Recently, the young magician therefore chose to share his passion and reveal the secrets of certain very accessible tricks with this book. Fifty tricks are explained there, with very clear tutorials to reproduce them easily.
A sense of creativity
“I discovered magic when I was 8 years old. It was a revelation for me and I then continued to persevere in this passion, but always as an autodidact. Besides, I struggled more to learn the techniques because I wasn’t taking any lessons. So I had to develop a certain imagination to improve myself, but it also allowed me to develop my sense of creativity, ”says Maxime Tabart to CNEWS.
A magic trick for Kylian Mbappé
The book thus details various tricks based on everyday objects: how to make a cup fly, like making cereal disappear in a box, or even exploiting the classic decks of cards. “But I’m thinking above all about towers that use new technologies and in particular an object that we all have in hand: the smartphone”, he underlines. Maxime Tabart is also working on his next show with an international team. Its goal ? Take advantage of tools such as virtual reality, drones and holograms, “to share new experiences”.
And when asked what is the secret of a good magician? Maxime Tabart believes that he must “know how to make a person forget the moment. You have to be honest in what you say, use stories that touch you, train on a daily basis and stay curious.
