In 2019, the Dijon Roller Marathon became the Grands Crus Marathon. At that time, the round trip in the alleys of the park of Dijon transformed into a loop of 42 kilometers in the heart of the vineyards of Burgundy. The event is paired with the Running marathon which takes place on Sunday morning.

For the first edition in 2019, 1,500 runners and rollerbladers from 26 different nations set off on the famous tourist route in the heart of the Climats de Bourgogne.

The races take place over 2 distances: 21 and 42 kilometers.
The Château du Clos de Vougeot welcomes the arrival of the runners and the departure of the 21-kilometer skaters. For the more seasoned, the loop is done on this mythical place and leaves again in the direction of the alleys of the park in Dijon for the final sprint.
Participants take the famous Grands Crus route which, for the occasion, will be closed to traffic. This tourist route crosses the most beautiful villages and the largest appellations such as Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis or even Gevrey-Chambertin.
A dream setting in this season when the vineyards are adorned with their most beautiful fall colors.
