The Chinese have launched their most beautiful SUV that attacks the supremacy of Toyota Land Cruiser

Chinese carmaker Great Wall Motors has launched its newest and most beautiful SUV, the Tank 500. It has a 349 hp mild-hybrid engine and is exclusively for the Chinese car market, where it will compete with the Toyota Land Cruiser. Prado.

Aesthetically, the new Tank 500 features a simplistic, robust and imposing design. The interior is luxurious and offers, among other things, a state-of-the-art infotainment system with a 14.6-inch screen and a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument panel.

Customers will also find wooden ornaments on the dashboard, door panels and center console. An optional two-tone leather upholstery will be provided. Other key cabin details include an analog clock located between the center vents, metallic accents and premium-looking controls.

The new Tank 500 SUV measures 5,070 mm in length, 1,934 mm in width and 1,905 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,850 mm. This means that the SUV will be available in both five-seater and seven-seater configurations.

The model will be offered in a single engine variant. It’s about a 3.0-liter V6 turbo gasolinewhich works in combination with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.

The assembly delivers a maximum power of 349 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The transmission is automatic and has nine gears. Under these conditions, the Tank 500 will be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.3 seconds, while the consumption announced by the manufacturer is 10.7 liters / 100 km in the combined cycle.

The Chinese SUV it can be ordered in several variants, namely Business, Sport and Black Warrior. Customers will also be able to customize the car using the Great Wall Motors personalization system. Prices will range from 335,000 yuan (about 47,820 euros) to 395,000 yuan (56,320 euros).
