The State Council of the annexed Crimea has proposed introducing fines for publishing photos and videos of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russia and territories controlled by it. This was announced by Chairman of the State Council Vladimir Konstantinov on the air of the Russia-24 TV channel.
“This situation, it seems to me, is long overdue. Because all the information they [ВСУ] feed, mainly comes from the public sphere. That is, you don’t need to send dozens of spies, but you just need to plant analysts who will review social networks and look for those details by which all the puzzles of what is happening can be put together, ”Konstantinov said.
The fine will be up to 30 thousand rubles for individuals, up to 100 thousand rubles for state and municipal employees and up to 300 thousand rubles for legal entities. The official said that in case of repeated violation, the amount of the fine will increase.
According to Konstantinov, the proposal has already been supported by the State Duma Defense Committee. Senator Andrei Klishas declaredthat the committee of the Federation Council on constitutional legislation and state building, which he heads, is also ready to support the introduction of fines.
The head of the annexed peninsula Sergey Aksyonov declaredthat Crimea intends to initiate amendments to the legislation at the federal level in order to tighten the responsibility for publishing photos and videos of the location and operation of air defense, military facilities and the consequences of strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
After two attacks on the Crimean bridge, the network spread videoallegedly a detained resident of the annexed Crimea, who was forced to apologize for filming air defense work over the Kerch Strait.
