The Ivorian artist-singer Soumahoro Maury Féré dit Molare was arrested and heard this Monday, January 30 in Abidjan by the national police for possession of a firearm “appeared in public”, made public the Police rescue platform.
Following this interrogation, the artist, in a short video broadcast on his Facebook page, reassured his fans that everything is fine.
For the artist, it is normal that the police seek to know why he has a weapon.
“I followed normal procedure. I am at my office, everything is fine and I have seen that the police in my country are professional. They asked how come I have a gun. They found that it is not a lethal weapon, but the one used for paintball. There is no problem, it is a question that has occurred since the day. I complied with the procedure, ”he clarified, reassuring that after his hearing, he was released.
He took the opportunity to appeal to his friends and all who play this game to “be careful”.
