Cycling

France middle distance: two Dijon in Lyon

The French middle distance championships take place at the Tête d’Or park in Lyon, this Friday (25 km qualification, small final) and Saturday (50 km big final). Two coaches from Sco Dijon are engaged. Michel Filiatre is aligned with Nicolas Verne (VC Villefranche-Beaujolais) and Nicolas Cabon (Team Lyon 7). Third last year, the pair Bernard Filiatre-Christopher Gamez (OC Val d’Oise) is again in contention. Due to the withdrawal of the third Dijon coach, Antoine Breton (health concerns), Bernard Filiatre will also represent Burgundy with Léo Bouvier (Team Élite Restauration 89). The Bisontin Joseph Berlin-Sémon will challenge its title, which it has held since 2018.

Romuald Lepers and Damien Favre Félix competed in the world swim run championship on Monday, on a course offering 65 km of running and 10 km of swimming from Stockholm. The two men completed this extreme race in 11:01 am at 54e position.
