Sir Richard Branson reveals that his mother has passed away after suffering from Covid-19

“I’m sorry to announce, but like other people’s relatives and friends now, my mother has passed away after getting Covid 19. She held on, but unfortunately lost energy in the process,” said Branson, founder of Virgin Group.

He goes on to point out that she has not been alone. Richard’s sister Vanessa and brother’s son Louis were with him, as were the nurses.

“Instead of mourning her departure, I prefer to celebrate her wonderful life – the power of spirit, joy and love she gave to everyone,” Branson writes.

He points out that it is strange to realize that she no longer exists.

Branson says that at the age of 96, the mother had the same energy and enthusiasm as in her childhood.

He thanks him for the cherished values ​​that have served him throughout his life. Your parents have taught you how important it is to work hard, not to take yourself too seriously, and to treat others the way you would like to be treated. It is also inculcated that the most important thing in life is the family.

The billionaire also says that his mother played a big role in becoming a successful businessman.

“When we started Virgin Galactic, the mother felt so honored that we named the mother ship after her,” Branson reveals, adding that she will always be his “mother ship” as well as the grandmother of 11 children and the grandmother of 10 children.
