Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs is a 2022 television series centered on an ordinary office worker who finds himself reincarnated into a video game. In this specific world, which functions as a punishing dating simulation, women hold supreme power and social standing is reserved exclusively for beautiful men. The protagonist, now living as a character named Leon, possesses a significant advantage because he retains the memories of his previous life. This knowledge includes a complete playthrough of the game he currently inhabits. Armed with this secret weapon, Leon attempts to spark a revolution to alter the social structure of this reality. Despite his efforts to challenge the established order, his ultimate motivation remains surprisingly modest.
