Pierino torna a scuola is a 1990 Italian comedy film with a runtime of one hour and thirty-one minutes. The story follows a character named Peter who, having come of age and remaining unemployed, decides to return to elementary school. Despite his efforts, his academic performance remains poor. His grandmother eventually uses the grades from Peter's report card to fill out a football pools coupon. After the grandmother wins the lottery, she uses the prize money to renovate her tavern. She does not share any of the winnings with her nephew, prompting Peter to retaliate by locking his entire family inside the bathrooms of the newly renovated restaurant.
