## Executive Summary & Cultural Positioning

La Pluie is a 2023 television series categorized under drama, sci-fi and fantasy, and mystery that follows a character named Saengtai. Saengtai prefers to avoid unnecessary conversation with people, particularly strangers, and experiences sensorineural hearing loss when it rains, until fate intervenes and allows him to hear one specific voice.

Culturally and narratively, the show centers on this unusual sensory phenomenon to drive its dramatic and mysterious tone. The pacing is shaped by Saengtai's initial isolation and the fateful narrative twist that forces an unexpected connection during rainy weather.
