## Executive Summary & Cultural Positioning

Creamy Mami: Forever Once More is an animation film released on October 28, 1984, directed by Osamu Kobayashi. The story follows the aftermath of a year in which the space kittens Pozi and Nega gave little Yu a magic baton, granting her the power to transform into the grown-up idol singer Creamy Mami and use her magic for good. Although her powers occasionally caused more problems than they solved, everything worked out well and she eventually returned the baton. Since that time, Mami has been absent from the music scene, but her return is suddenly announced in a blaze of publicity. Yu and her friends uncover a campaign by a bad boy named Shingo to deceive the singer's many fans, while Yu also wants to know if somebody else has the magic and became Creamy Mami.
