## Executive Summary & Cultural Positioning

As Filhas da Mãe is a Brazilian television series that centers on the family of Lulu de Luxemburgo. The plot follows the return of the family to Brazil after they had been living in various locations across the world, including Rome, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. This reunion is prompted by the disappearance of the family patriarch, Fausto Cavalcante. Following his vanishing, a conflict emerges among the children of Lulu de Luxemburgo, specifically Tatiana, Alessandra, and Ramona. These three daughters engage in a struggle against one another to claim ownership of the Jardim do Éden resort. This property was left behind by Fausto Cavalcante after he engaged in dishonest business practices involving his two partners, Arthur Brandão and Manolo Gutierrez. The narrative focuses on the internal family disputes and the complications arising from the father’s past actions regarding the resort. The series documents how these characters navigate the aftermath of the disappearance and the resulting competition for the estate that Fausto Cavalcante left in his wake.
