## Executive Summary & Cultural Positioning

2001: A Space Travesty is a 2000 satirical science fiction comedy film directed by Allan A. Goldstein. The plot follows the US Marshall Service's best man, Dix, as he investigates reports that the President of the United States has been replaced by a clone and is being held captive on a secret international moon base called Vegan.
