Shikabala crying on the air: “I’m not like that..and they took the league

Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala, the Zamalek player, broke down in tears on the air, after watching a video report that included messages to him from a number of Zamalek and Al-Ahly fans.

The crying of the Zamalek leader continued on the air for several minutes during his hosting of an episode of the “Al-Hekaya” program broadcast on MBC Egypt.

Shikabala said after the media, Amr Adib, intervened to stop the crying: “I am not like this for Al-Ahly’s fault, I know that I am not like this, and Al-Ahly is my companion, I know that I am not like this.”

He added, “When you try to communicate something, I make it arrive in the right way. The audience of Zamalek is not small, and anywhere in the world we look at a lot, but in Egypt we deal in a way that is not good.”

He continued, “Without Zamalek, there will be no ball in Egypt, all of that is why we took the league. Take it, we don’t want it.”

And he concluded his statements: “We want equality and justice only, and any team that gets a league, whether Ismaili or Pyramids, who works hard gets the league.”
