Season 2 announced for Foundation on Apple TV +

Foundation, the new science fiction series on Apple TV +, will have the right to a season 2. The first season is being broadcast and the fourth episode was released today on the streaming platform. She will have 10 episodes in total.

The synopsis is based on the cycle of the novel Foundation of Isaac Asimov. The Galactic Empire, ruled by the genetic dynasty of Emperor Cleon I’s clones, is predicted by Psychohistory (an imaginary science founded by Hari Seldon) a collapse followed by 30,000 years of darkness before a second galactic empire does take over. Psychohistory, however, has discovered a way to reduce the duration of this era of darkness to 1,000 years. It is by implementing a plan drawn up by Seldon, a plan that will be applied to the planet Terminus, the most distant and desolate planet in the entire galaxy.
