■ Biography
California-born Los Angeles-based pop singer-songwriter. He began singing about boys he liked in kindergarten, and by the time he was 12, Bonnie Hayes, who had worked on songs for Cher and others, noticed Salem’s songwriting talents. He later went on to study music at Berklee School of Music but dropped out and now lives in Los Angeles. Among the songs that he continued to release while working hard on weekends, “Mad at Disney” became a hit all over the world with TikTok, and the total number of streaming views exceeded 200 million.
