The airline Ryanair revalidates its commitment to the Costa Blanca in its summer calendar by programming a total of 74 routes with more than 300 weekly flights at the Alicante airport, including eight new connections to Belfast City, Ibiza, Menorca, Teesside, Bari, Treviso , Lanzarote and Vitoria.
The director of the Costa Blanca Tourism Board, José Mancebo, held a working meeting this Wednesday with the directors of the Irish airline Ryanair, specifically with the director of Marketing & Digital, Dara Brady, and with the Head of Sales & Marketing , Chiara Ravara, to address the province’s connectivity with potential tourist-sending countries in which the company operates.
The meeting also had the participation of the director of the Alicante-Elche airport Miguel Hernández, Laura Navarro.
“The new routes will help boost air traffic and the region’s tourism sector as we enter the decisive months of summer, July and August, while vaccination campaigns continue throughout Europe,” the company said in a press release. .
For his part, Mancebo has indicated that, on the part of the Provincial Tourist Board and the Alicante Provincial Council, they want to “thank Ryanair’s commitment to the Alicante aerodrome and the Costa Blanca.”
With these more than seventy summer routes, “we strengthen our alliance with both Ryanair and the airport and Aena, within our destination connectivity strategy,” Mancebo said.
