The central defender of Chelsea, Antonio Ruediger, has been postulated in recent months as a possible signing of the Real Madrid since the white team, interested in the player, would have approached knowing that his contract in London ends next June.
Therefore, from January 1, 2022, when the player is already free to negotiate with any team, he would be considering the option of reaching the white team as a free agent.
However, in an interview with Sky Sports, the German player has cooled the rumours. “My family feels very comfortable in London. As always, I am fully committed to the cause. The conversations are between my side and the Chelsea, and that’s all you need to know about my future now. You have to think about your family. My children were born here in London and that tells you that my family feels very well here. The rest depends on other people to make decisions and then we’ll see if we come to an understanding,” said the former defender of the Roma.
For his part, the Real Madrid remains aware of the situation of the player and the great experience they already had last year with the incorporation of the Austrian center-back, formerly of the Bayern Munich, David Alaba.
