Argument

A girl of Italian descent, a hairdresser, in New York meets a prince from a faraway place. The boy is engaged, but for true love there are no borders, not even in social classes.

The movie. Review

We can finish soon: run away while you can. It is one of those movies that we can say little about except that we have to reach 500 words. Well here we go.

An easy romantic comedy, built like a TV movie about Italians who play the typical Italian and princes who run away a bit from their royal status because their little Marxist heart asks them to help others. Of course, the hairdresser and her friends are there to help him in this descent to the dark side of the supermarket’s sales section and that this good boy (and attractive, eh, who doesn’t stop repeating it) doesn’t get lost among the splendors of the palace like it happened to Pierce Brosnan in La Hija del Rey (2022), another movie that had nowhere to take it but that, at least, had sirens.

The whole formula for a teenage love comedy: the half-“crazy” and nice friends who accompany the main character in her impossible love, the kindness that overflows in her heart in each scene… and the prince.

If the thing were well told, it could be worth it, but on top of that they haven’t made an effort to make us laugh.

Or yes, but it has not made me funny.

Our opinion

Easy filler comedy that tries to convince us about the goodness of an easy life and how pernicious money and luxury are.

I was born too perverted, so why go against nature.
