by drbyos

Roma beat Zorya Luhansk by a landslide 4:0 in a match of the fifth round of the group stage of the Conference League. The goals for the hosts were the work of Carles Perez, Niccolo Zaniolo and Tammy Abraham, who scored twice.

The match started at an aggressive pace and within 7 minutes the two teams exchanged a dangerous opportunity. First, the hosts missed a great chance after Tammy Abraham mastered a cross, but sent the ball over the crossbar.

This was followed by a response from Loro Tsvek, whose projectile was parried by the wonderful intervention of Rui Patricio.

However, Roma took the lead after only 15 minutes of play. Stefan El Shaarawy showed a great look and passed to Carles Perez, who did not make a mistake and with a shot from close range sent the ball into the opponent’s net for 1: 0.

In the 28th minute Niccolo Zaniolo shot from the edge of the penalty area, but Dmitro Matsupara saved his goal. Five minutes later, the guard of the guests remained powerless in the new shot of Zaniolo, which doubled the lead of the “wolves”.

Roma started the second half with a goal after Gianniello assisted Tammy Abraham, who knocked the ball into the empty net for 3-0. Two more opportunities for Roma followed, but Tammy Abraham sent the ball away from the goal.

However, the pressure of the boys of Jose Mourinho gave a result and 15 minutes before the last referee signal, Abraham again rose to 4: 0.

At the very end of the match, the “wolves” had the opportunity to make their victory even more expressive, but Eldor Shomurodov fired a very weak shot, which did not hinder the guard of Zorya.
