Robert Lewandowski: No flight chaos! At least one Bayern star came home happy – Bundesliga

While the DFB stars had to make a horror return trip behind them, Robert Lewandowski (33) ended up happy and relaxed after the World Cup qualification in Munich.

For the German national players (including Niklas Süle, Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala and Leon Goretzka) it was a turbulent return trip. After the 4-0 win in Iceland, an incident broke out in the air. The plane had to make a stopover in Edinburgh / Scotland! The star kicker odyssey lasted over ten hours.

Poland captain Lewy strolled out of the private terminal at Munich Airport at 3:53 p.m. The striker played 1-1 against England on Wednesday and returned from Poland from the national team. Lewandowski scored once in the 4-1 win against Albania and prepared a goal. At 7-1 in San Marino, Lewy cheered twice and provided a template. Lewandowski achieved the most goal participations in the calendar year 2021 and overtook Lionel Messi (34).

He beamed on arrival, had daughter Laura (1) in his arms and Klara (4) by the hand. His mother and of course his wife Anna were also there.

Together they drove home in a black Mercedes van. A visibly relaxed and good-humored Lewandowski greeted the BILD reporter in a friendly manner and disappeared home.
