Retro of the season | The best action from every franchise in 2020/21 | NBA

As often, the best actions of a season are full of “game winners”, “crossovers”, “poster dunks” and counters. This was still the case in 2020/21, as evidenced by this superb Top 30 of fifteen minutes, bringing together the most beautiful actions of each franchise.

Unsurprisingly, we find the sublime collective action of the Nets, with this pass behind Blake Griffin for Kyrie Irving, who serves a Mike James sending Kevin Durant to the “alley-oop”, with the board! Another memorable “alley-oop”: the (very) high altitude one of Ja Morant with the Grizzlies.

A slew of “game winners” are also to be found in this Top 30. Collage: Luka Doncic (Mavericks) with 3-points on one leg against Memphis, Damian Lillard (Blazers) also at 3-points to defeat Chicago, Russell Westbrook (Wizards) who validates his fantastic comeback against Brooklyn, with a 3-point, or Cole Anthony (Magic), who also came to finish off Minnesota behind the arc.

As for the obvious, the poster dunks of Miles Bridges (Hornets) on Clint Capela, Kawhi Leonard (Clippers) on Derrick Favors, Zion Williamson (Pelicans) on Chimezie Metu and Anthony Edwards (Wolves) on Yuta Watanabe are also present in this retrospective.

As for the last two NBA finalists, the Bucks and the Suns, it is their two iconic actions from the 2021 playoffs that have been selected. Namely, for Milwaukee, the interception of Jrue Holiday followed by an “alley-oop” for Giannis Antetokounmpo, which sealed the fate of Game 5 of the Finals. And, for Phoenix, the “game winner” in “alley-oop”, again, Deandre Ayton against the Clippers, defeated in Game 2 of the Western Conference final.

Roll on the recovery!
