Realme Pad: the first tablet from Realme will be presented on September 9

The firm Realme is preparing to unveil its very first touchscreen tablet on September 9, 2021. A product located under 7 mm thick and which should undoubtedly compete with models positioned at the entry level.

After smartphones, televisions and laptops, Realme is trying to tackle a new market in need of players, that of tablets. The Chinese firm will officially present its first test on September 9 and is already easily competing with the leaders in the segment.

A first model placed on the entry level?

Pending the official announcement, Realme has set up a page dedicated to his tablet, promising to reveal a little more by September 5. But to dress up its site, the firm has lightly presented images of its tablet, praising its thinness of 6.9 mm by comparing it to a 2020 iPad (7.5 mm). From there to writing that the Realme Pad will come to tease the entry-level model from Apple, there is only one step. Indeed, the rest of the fleet of tablets is currently below the 6.9 mm mark. Realme cannot therefore boast of having the thinnest product on the market.

Regarding the rest of the technical sheet, this first tablet from Realme would embed a MediaTek Helio G80 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM. A variant with 6 GB could be in the pipes. The storage would be 64 GB – hopefully with a possibility of increasing it by means of a microSD card. The 10.4-inch panel should be based on LCD technology, an 8-megapixel module would be placed at the back as well as at the front and the proposed battery would display a capacity of 7100 mAh. This Realme Pad could be available in two colors, gray and gold.
