Lil Wayne is currently under investigation after threatening his bodyguard with a pistol.
According to Rolling Stone, this incident took place at the rapper’s home – whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr – in the Hidden Hills in California on December 1. The bodyguard who called the authorities says there was a verbal altercation between them, which quickly turned physical.
He also said the rapper brandished a gun during this altercation.
“When the police tried to contact the rapper, he was no longer at home,” authorities explained.
No complaints have been filed and authorities are still investigating to obtain all the facts about this incident. The main party has not yet spoken publicly on this subject.
In addition, Lil Wayne recently announced “Tha Carter Singles Collection”, which will include 19 old singles in a limited edition vinyl collector’s box. These singles will be taken from the rapper’s hit record series which were released from 2004 to 2018. The set will also include rare notes and photos.
