Positive test at Portimao for Marc Márquez

A few days after riding a motorcycle, for the first time in several months, on the motocross track, Marc Márquez’s rehabilitation took another step forward with a full day of driving a Honda RC213V-S in Portugal.

Marc Marquez underwent a medical examination with Dr. Sánchez Dalmau last Monday to analyze the situation of his double vision, so-called diplopia. The ophthalmologist confirmed a clear improvement in the vision of the eight-time world champion.

The eight-time world champion was first and foremost overjoyed to experience the excitement of driving again after his forced break. Marquez reported no major concerns with his diplopia during the day and was pleased and optimistic with the day’s work. Attention is now turning to the first pre-season test at the Sepang International Circuit in early February.
