2 injured in an apartment fire in Badenweiler

Freiburg (ots) –

For a previously unknown cause, a fire broke out on Saturday morning, around 8:40 a.m., in a residential building in the center of Badenweiler-Oberweiler.

According to the current state of affairs, one resident sustained serious injuries and, like another resident who was slightly injured, had to be taken to a hospital.

The fire has meanwhile been extinguished by the fire brigade. The Badenweiler-Oberweiler thoroughfare (L131) was temporarily closed due to the fire service.

The Müllheim police station has started the investigation.
