POL-FR: Lörrach: Under the influence of alcohol on an e-scooter

On Thursday, May 11, 2023, at around 1:30 a.m., a driver of an e-scooter was subjected to a check because the police noticed that he was driving in a serpentine manner on Tumringer Straße. He was also driving without lights. The reason for the serpentine journey could have been the 40-year-old driver’s intoxication. An alcohol test showed a result of over 1.3 per mille. Blood is taken in a hospital. After the end of the police measures, the wife of the 40-year-old was handed over his e-scooter. In this context, the 40-year-old could not refrain from insulting the police officers deployed.
