Paul Mutume released from duty as a priest to assist

Dr. Paul Mutume, priest to assist in the parish community “Grabfeldbrücke, Bad Königshofen im Grabfeld”, has been released with effect from September 30th. The press office of the diocese of Würzburg announced. At the request of his Archbishop Lambert Bainomugisha, he is returning to Uganda in his native Archdiocese of Mbarara.

For his service in the diocese of Würzburg, the deputy vicar general, cathedral capitular Dr. Stefan Rambacher thanked Mutume and wished him all the best for his new position.

Mutume was born in 1974 in Rubindi, Uganda. He was ordained a priest there in 2003 as well. In 2010 he came to Germany to do his doctorate and lived with Pastor Stefan Redelberger in Schweinfurt. From 2013 Mutume lived in Oberpleichfeld and helped in the parish community ?? People of God an Pleichach and Main, Bergtheim ?? as a pastor. In 2017 he obtained his doctorate? Women ?? s Emancipation in Africa ?? Reality or Illusion? A Case Study of Mbarara, Western Uganda ?? a doctorate in theology. In the same year he became a priest to help the parish community “Grabfeldbrücke, Bad Königshofen im Grabfeld”.
