From Saturday, January 9, Latvia will still have to comply with self-isolation after returning from all European countries on the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC), except the Vatican and Iceland, Netherlands, according to data compiled by the SPKC.
There have been no changes to the list of countries to be self-isolated during the week. In all but the Vatican and Iceland, the 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases exceeds 50 cases per 100,000 population.
The ban on international passenger transport will no longer apply to the Netherlands from Monday, 11 January, but will be extended to the United Kingdom and will continue to apply to the Czech Republic and Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Slovenia and San Marino.
Regular passenger services are not allowed in countries where the 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants is twice the average for the European Union and the European Economic Area.
