Olne: he tries to flee during a control… he loses his life!

A dramatic accident occurred this Sunday evening in the Verviers region. A man has indeed lost his life while trying to evade police control.

At the beginning of the evening this Sunday, a motorist was driving in the town of Olne when he saw a police check. Determined not to stop, the man tried to flee and a chase began on the roads of the town.

The fugitive was obviously well decided but, in his maneuvers, he could not avoid a building… his vehicle was literally embedded in a wall. He lost his life… we do not deplore any other victims. The Liège public prosecutor’s office, notified, appointed an expert on site.
