How to deal with medical desertification? Champigny-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne), like many municipalities in the Ile-de-France, is faced with an insufficient number of doctors for its 77,000 inhabitants. Faced with this puzzle, the municipality is multiplying initiatives. The latest: the redevelopment of a former town hall annex, the inauguration of which is scheduled for next March.

Equipped with two medical offices, the building will house a medical incubator, more specifically intended for young health professionals. The operation is similar to that of a business incubator: over a period of up to 2 years, young doctors will be able to practice in premises already equipped, for a low rent, since the building belongs to the city. Up to four doctors will be able to settle in the nursery.
