The 41-year-old tennis legend Roger Federer ended his career about a week ago with a media outcry. It was highly emotional in London. With more than 100 tournament wins and 20 Grand Slam titles, the Swiss is retiring from the sport. Now his colleagues are also itching to give up the bat. Djokovic is also thinking about retiring.

One thing Djokovic wishes for when he ends his career is his family and friends as well greatest rivals and comrades-in-arms to have there.”, explains the Serbian tennis player, probably thinking of the Spaniard Rafael Nadal.

Taking leave

Federer’s farewell hit the “Djoker” hard. And so the 21-time Grand Slam winner reports: “Seeing Roger’s children and family also made me very emotional. I also have to say that I was thinking about what it will be like when I say goodbye to tennis.”

However, one can reassure fans. Because Djokovic’s career will continue for a while. The Serbian tennis star definitely wants to play against Nadal a few more times: “We’ve played more games against each other than any other rivalry in tennis history. This is very special and it goes on. Hopefully we’ll get a chance for a few more matches“, so Djokovic.
