New Smash Bros. character coming to Nintendo Direct this week

The biggest crossover event in the world will soon become a little bigger, according to Nintendo. Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai will perform a live stream on January 16 at 6:00 am PT / 9:00 am ET which will last 35 minutes. The famous workaholic plans to reveal a new DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Bet on who it could be? I’m still holding on for Goku. But maybe we will finally have Waluigi?

Previously, Nintendo had promised the release of five DLC characters, which included additions like Joker’s Person 5and Banjo-Kazooie. Late last year, however, the Japanese developer said he was working on further additions to the party’s fighting game.

“For me, it seems that the finish line is slipping further,” said Sakurai. “You might ask yourself,” As far as he can get involved Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? ‘But I’m also excited. Adding more characters to the game means more game worlds will be added to the series and, ultimately, that means there will be an even bigger opportunity to delight fans. “

He went on to say that this is probably the largest Smash Bros. roster in the franchise’s history and that future games probably won’t include as many characters. Better to get while running smoothly.
